Worked as a Quantity Surveyor for six (6) years on various Civil and Building Construction projects.
Reported to the principal Quantity Surveyor on all projects. The workload included new buildings,
refurbishment projects and extension projects. These projects were Office blocks, Shopping Malls, a
Warehouse and Distribution Centre for a major retail chain (SPAR), Palisade Fence, Residential
Flats and Hostels for State University Students. Attained proficiency in WinQS and Microsoft Projects
while working for the firm. I managed to work on a number of projects with very limited supervision.

Worked as an intern at Murray and Roberts Construction Zimbabwe as part of my third year of my degree studies.
I was working in a Mining environment as an assistant to the Site Quantity Surveyor based at Unki Mine in
Shurugwi, Zimbabwe. Our company was responsible for the construction of electrical building at the mine as a
subcontractor to the South African contractor Stefanutti Stocks. Standard contract adopted on this project was
the NEC (New Engineering Contract) Building and Engineering Subcontract

Details:
I am currently the Quantity Surveyor for a 300 unit housing project in Savanna city in Gauteng,
South Africa. My roles include Estimation, Bill preparation and Claims. The Contract value is around R60 Million.

2. SPAR Head Office and Distribution Centre
Client: ZEI Pension Fund
Contract Duration: 2013 to 2014
Details:
I was the lead Quantity Surveyor on the project from conception to completion. The project entailed the construction of a Warehouse attached to an Office Block, Workshop and external Roadworks and paving in Arlington, Harare. My work before construction involved measurement from drawings, preparation of the Bills of Quantities, Estimates and Tender Adjudication and Reporting. During construction my responsibilities included Cost Reporting, Interim Valuations and Certificates, Contract Administration and Final Accounting. I was
also involved in Dispute Resolution through mediation. The standard contract in use was the NJPC 2000 Building Contract. Contract value was around US$15 Million.

3. Parklands Shopping Mall
Client: ZEI Pension Fund
Contract Duration: 2010 to 2011
Details:
I was involved in the tender process and preliminary estimation of the development. The project
entailed the construction of a shopping mall in Parklands, Bulawayo. My work involved
measurement from drawings, assisted in the preparation of the Bills of Quantities, Estimates
and Tender Adjudication and Reporting. The standard contract in use was the NJPC 2000
Building Contract. Contract value was around US$3 Million.

4. ARIPO Office Extensions
Client: African Regional Intellectual Property Organisation (ARIPO)
Contract Duration: 2015 to 2016
Details:
I was the lead Quantity Surveyor on the project from conception. The project
entailed the extension of the Offices for ARIPO including the construction of a new wing and
external Roadworks and paving in Belgravia, Harare. My work before construction involved
Measurement from drawings, preparation of the Bills of Quantities, Estimates and Tender
Adjudication and Reporting. During construction my responsibilities included Cost Reporting,
Interim Valuations and Certificates and Contract Administration. The standard contract in
use was the NJPC 2000 Building Contract. Contract value was around US$5 Million.
