The 2015 “TAKE CONTROL” Business Breakfast, Dubai – UAE

CCS Gulf proudly hosted a Business Breakfast at the Al Bustan Hotel in Dubai on the 20th of May 2015. The presentation focused extensively on how the application of the CCS Integrated Cost Management System has transformed construction companies to take REAL-TIME COMPLETE CONTROL of their construction projects from estimate through to final account.

A variety of industry leaders and top management attended the business breakfast briefing along with industry expert speakers: Mr. Peter Cheney (Joint MD of CCS), Mr. Ian Hauptfleisch (General Manager of CCS Gulf), Mr. Greg Walsh (Director of CCS Australia and former FD of ALEC), Mr. Clifford Human (National Sales Manager of CCS South Africa) and Mr. Juan Manual Cadenas (Corporate managing Director of Petroserv Limited).

CCS Gulf proudly hosted its Candy User Seminar at the Al Bustan Hotel in Dubai on the 19th of May 2015. The CCS Gulf Candy team took the almost 250 users through some existing, advanced and new features of Candy, while our special guest speakers, Mr. Peter Cheney (Joint MD of CCS) and Mr. Greg Walsh (Director of CCS Australia and former FD of ALEC) provided some interesting, first-hand perspectives on software development and Dubai’s construction boom.

CCS Gulf co-sponsored The Big Project Contractors Golf Cup on 08 April 2015 that took place at the Emirates Golf Club in Dubai.

72 contractor executives took part and CCS was aptly represented by our very own Graham Braybrooke – Longest drive winner, whose four-ball comprising of Rory Binder, Hentie Burger Jnr and Hentie Burger Snr walked away with 1st place!

Tom Gilmartin and Tamir Mohamed were lucky winners, walking away with a golf day for two at the Emirates Golf Club from CCS Gulf for providing the closest guess to the number of Tees in the Jar competition.

Some 20 teams took part in Construction Week’s Race to Build Dubai 2015 Golf Day Event, which took place at the Jumeirah Golf Estate on 12 March.

New Project: The Duqm airport – Duqm, Oman

CCS client Larsen & Toubro has been awarded the $94mn Duqm airport contract in Oman.

The scope of this substantial project includes construction of a modern passenger terminal spread over 5,700 m2 with a capacity of 500,000 passengers per year, a 37m high air traffic control tower and an air cargo terminal equipped to handle 25,000 metric tons of cargo per annum.

CCS would like to congratulate L&T on securing this landmark project. We wish them every success and assure them of our continued support and assistance during the execution of this and future projects.
