New Candy Mining course

CCSMI have recently introduced a new Candy training course specifically designed for the mining environment. The course focuses on the requirements of open pit and underground mining operations.

M201 – Candy Estimating and Budgeting for Mining

WHO SHOULD ATTEND THIS COURSE?
All  Estimators, Budget Controllers, Project Managers, Commercial Managers, Site Engineers and Quantity Surveyors.

This two-day course is designed to help any person that needs to estimate or prepare a budget for either a complete project, pre-feasibility, feasibility  or just to price a variation order. The course focuses on the estimating side of Candy only and is suitable for both new users and experienced user that wish to know more about the Candy Estimating module.

The course covers all the basics about Candy Estimating, and includes bill creation, resources, worksheets, local and global variable; pricing, subcontractors, mark-up, analysis of data, pricing from a master library, addendum merging, productions reports, indirect costs and an introduction to post-tender control and forecasting.

M301 – Candy Earned Value and Forecasting for Mining
Suitable for Estimators, Planners, Site Engineers, Project managers, Contract Managers and Quantity Surveyors who are familiar with Candy Estimating and Planning.

M401 – Executive Overview, Analysis & interpretation
A seminar for executives and managers who require an understanding of the information that can be generated by Candy, but do not necessarily require hands-on training.
