4Projects on Bulyanhulu Process Plant Expansion Project

Africa Barrick Gold is Tanzania’s largest gold producer and one of the five largest gold producers in Africa. With three producing mines located in North West Tanzania as well as several exploration projects at various stages of development in Tanzania and Kenya.

The three producing mines are Bulyanhulu, Buzwagi and North Mara.

4Projects and Africa Barrick Gold: Bulyanhulu Process Plant Expansion Project

African Barrick Gold’s Bulyanhulu mine is currently expanding, the project is valued at ZAR 1.2 Billion and the contract with 4Projects has been extended for the next 8 months.

African Barrick Gold has a high quality asset base, with solid growth opportunities and a clear strategy to optimize, expand and grow the business. This provided the perfect fit between African Barrick Gold and 4Projects as a software partner on the Bulyanhulu Project.

Over the past 12 months Africa Barrick Gold have been utilizing the 4Projects NEC3 contract to great lengths. Recently CCS (4Projects South Africa) signed an extended contract with Africa Barrick Gold to expand on and include all the 4Projects core modules. This was done in order to improve communication and collaboration on the project and allow greater user functionality around transparency, accountability on project members.
