Your data is vital to you, and you want to be assured that it will be available when you want it for the duration of your project, and well beyond. This document is designed to demonstrate to Client’s that 4Projects take these concerns seriously, and have robust plans in place to ensure customers’ peace of mind.
Archiving
4Projects believe most value is gained by leaving your data online after completing the project in a read-only state. This contributes to the organisational knowledge-base. However, should the client prefer, we also provide a full archive solution.
This facility enables all documents associated with a project to be made available to the client locally. Clients may want to do this at regular specific stages in a project’s life cycle, providing peace of mind that all information used to date is readily available come what may.
Data Archives are made up of the information relating to a project. This includes all documents, drawings, photos, discussions and all other components that are part of the 4Projects solution. We can provide a disk comprising of all files on a project – an entire archive solution capturing all of the original project information. Any member of the team can have a copy – they will only see what they were originally entitled to see using their 4Projects login.

Disaster Prevention and Recovery
4Projects financial stability provides comfort to Clients that our long term business viability is secure. Our Archiving service allows customers to take copies of all data used up to a specific point, meaning that nothing is lost. Escrow is the means to provide the ultimate comfort for Clients who seek reassurance that whatever happens, they will be able to access a fully functioning version of our software solution.
However, there is one final element of our policy to safeguard the information upon which our Clients rely – Disaster Prevention and Recovery. At 4Projects, we take this matter very seriously, and make every effort to ensure that we not only have a robust reactive plan should any disaster strike, but also that we take all possible steps to proactively ensure that we can avoid such a situation arising.
